How it all started?
When I first moved to the U.S. from the Philippines, everything felt like a culture shock especially when it comes to dating and relationships.
Back home, divorce was rare (and if it happened, it could take years through a Vatican process!). So seeing how common divorces were in the U.S. made me seriously consider becoming a psychology major to help couples and families stay together.
Life, however, had different plans.
I found myself drawn into the world of design and tech, where I discovered something that changed how I approach everything the Design Thinking process: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test, Implement, and Improve.
At first, I applied these principles to building apps and digital experiences.
But as I navigated my own dating life, I realized: what if I applied design thinking to dating?
I started treating every experience like a chance to learn, improve, and iterate. And slowly but surely, I saw real growth in my confidence, connections, and relationships.
Living in New York exposed me to incredible diversity — dating people from different cultures, backgrounds, and belief systems.
Now living in Los Angeles, I can tell you: dating isn’t just different from country to country — it can change coast to coast!
Add in my love for travel, and I've met singles from all around the globe — all searching for connection, just like you and me.
All these experiences shaped my coaching approach today:
A blend of empathy, creative problem-solving, real-world experience, and a genuine passion for helping people create meaningful relationships.
